Synopsis:: -

Most of the time (80-90%) I do not get any picture/sound.

It all ends up with a small black square in upper left corner.
Then I turn off TV and the small black square disappear, and when I start the TV the black square is back or sometimes I get picture.

See picture below:

This can also accur when I change channel.

I have no problem with getting TV with for example ProgDVB all the time.

Is this a bug in MP?

I'm also having this problem with DVB-T channels, but it doesn't happen too often (hopefully). Changing to the next channel and going back fixes the issue.

I do not think it has to do with the subject above.

When I get picture/sound the small black square in upper left corner is not present.

When I get no picture it seems to lock up and the small black square are visible.

I can see that we have the same video card and videocard driver. Maybe it is some problem with MP and the Radeon 9600 driver?

Yesterday I upgraded to Catalyst 6.5, so I'll see if it's a problem with the driver, but I don't think it is because the analog channels don't suffer from this problem (using the PVR 350); I can change analog channels as often as I want and never get the blank screen. Most likely it's DVB related.

It's too early to say, because this issue happens seldom on my HTCP. But I haven't got this particular problem since the driver update.

Maybe I should try to update Catalyst driver and try again.
On my system it happens all the time so I should notice if there are any difference quite quickly.
