Default TV recording at 25fps when it's set to 29.97fps

Video Card Resolution: 1280x720
Video Render Type: -
Audio Card Model: Realtek High Definition Audio
Audio Card Driver: -
Synopsis:: -
My TV recordings have been unwatchable due to jerky playback. I've tried Nvidia & MPV codecs but nothing helped.
In MediaPortal setup, I set the frame rate to 29.97, but when I check the MediaPortal log, it says it's recording at 25. I've been using Hauppauge Tweak Tool, but I don't see anywhere to set the frame rate. I would assume that this is causing missed frames. Where can this be set? I didn't see anything like this in the bug tracker, but should I try a newer SVN?

I've attached the MediaPortal log (this is where 25fps is mentioned), recorder.log & error.log.
In MediaPortal.log, there are the lines:
21/11/2006 12:27:03 PM 375 [Info.] SWGraph:capture FrameRate set to 25
21/11/2006 12:27:03 PM 375 [Info.] VideoCaptureDevice: capture FrameRate done :25
Later in the log it says the fps is 29.97fps, but the recording stutters & is unwatchable.
Thanks for your help.
