Country: | Looks like there is a challenger for an internet TV client: DemocracyPlayer (http://www.getdemocracy.com/) Even Robert Scoble (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Scoble) has good things to say about it: http://scobleizer.wordpress.com/2006...iovideo-feeds/ |

Country: | Now, do correct me if I'm wrong, but can't you install support for Internet Radio (ie. Shoutcast), and simply download / create a playlist pointing to some video streams? From my understanding, Shoutcast for both video and audio are the same, the only difference is the data that is streamed. Most modern players can determine a file format via the header of the data coming in, so loading a .PLS file, or .ASX with some video stream locations in there, should be enough to cause WMP to switch to video, and play it as is intended. Mind you this would require you to access video via My Radio, which is a tad strange, but possibly the easiest way to get things working. Hope this helps you out. I haven't tested it, but technically it should work ![]() -G |
