Thanks gibman!

Ill give it a go. Could I ignore the "recordingpath" while testing timeshift? otherwise Ill have to remap recording folder (using multiple).

Not a big issue any more though with rtv:s fix New feature: Import your former TVE3 recordings!

My System

Default Amazing...

Hi Gibman,
just gave it a go this morning.... Amazing: it feels better and smoother. Below the results:
1. start mediaportal
2. switched to TV home
3. start TV
4. switch to full screen
5. zapped to 3 channels (by pressing channel number)

scenario with RTSP
zap 1: 5,5 sec
zap 2: 3,5 sec
zap 3: 3,8 sec

Scenario without RTSP (your patch):
zap 1: 3,0
zap 2: 2,8
zap 3: 2,8

It's not only a second per change faster, but this makes the difference between usable and not usable (at least for me)

Logs attached.

Also tested radio (only on correct working) and it worked.
Tested quickly also skipping etc. every thing worked.

Thanks,

kind regards,
Ruud.

I have Vista Ultimate 32 Sp1 if I use Nvidia Purevide decoder I have got and error "vc++ runtime early exist on mediaportal.exe"
If I use ms codec I don't get that error..

Are you using NVIDIA codec?

Hi, unfortunately not able to test multiple users accessing the same stream.
Watching a recording that did not finish yet works for me.
Ruud.

at last!
now its up and running (with svn 18123).
first impression is that channel changes on same card is a little faster, but between cards its slower.
Will do more tests when coming back from vacation.

I'm able to do some multi testing with up to four clients

It's in SVN now.

Although it is not supported by the team.
Don't post issues about this and that not working in random threads on the forum.
We do not want to hunt for bugs that are caused by this "feature".
So make sure you turn the feature OFF before submitting log files and bug reports.
Otherwise it wont even be considered.

It is ok to post in this thread of course about issues on this feature.

Why is this not relevant for single seat? You also connect via TCP/IP?
