![]() I have only specified the "usertsp>no<" part on my clients. Then I only make sure I have the timeshift drive and recodings drive shared on the tvserver (in my case "C" and "D"). Then it automatically connect via UNC (\\tvserver\c and \\tvserver\d).

Country: | TranceManNZ - what is your exact problem? Checklist: 1. Share local drives that is hosting the timeshift and recording files (usually C on the server with at least Read permissions using share names "C", "D" etc.2. From the TV client PC using logged on with user that is running MP, try connecting to the shares using Start-menu-Run "\\servername\C" - if that works ok, everything should be set. If it doesn't work you need to find out why by troubleshooting, first try XP/Vista help. 3. Change the mediaportal.xml according to first post (<entry name="usertsp">no</entry> etc). 4. Start MP - and you should be able to watch live TV without using RTSP. 5. Finished.

| What an amazing option! Works great for me, and channel changing between DVB-T channels is like lightning, and even switching to DVB-S is quick as well. I can also now use comskip as well! Thanks for this great option! |
