| Area: Sweden MP Version: 0.2.0.0 RC3 (SVN 11-04-2006) Skin: MCE Windows Version: XP SP2 (English) CPU Type: AMD Athlon XP 2500+ (Barton) Memory: TwinMos 2x512MB PC3200 Motherboard Chipset: ABIT NF7-S v. 2.0 Video Card: Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600 Pro Video Card Driver: Radeon Omega drivers 3.8.231 Video Card Resolution: 720x576 Video Render Type: VMR9 Video Codec Type & Version: Intervideo Audio Codec Type & Version: Intervideo TV Card: TwinhanDTV Cab-CI (with Conax CAM) TV Card Type: DVB-C TV Card Driver: 1.2.3.8 (WHQL) Synopsis: I found out a weird problem with my tv-card. I can't get signal to some channels, so I started to do some research. After a while I found out that it was the PCR PID number that was essential. For example: I can't go directly to Viasat Sport 1, but when I tune in TV4 or Canal+ Film3 before, I get signal and perfect picture on Viasat Sport 1. Same problem with some other channels, and I can live with that. But one channel just don't works, Eurosport. It never worked with Twinhans own software either, so it's not Mediaportal-related. I have ComHem (swedish cable) as provider. Do anyone have the same problem with PIDs? Is there some solution? Happy for all answers. |

Country: | If you edit the channel in config does it have the PCR PID number? The PCR PID for that channel is the same as the Video PID if it was not in already. Since the Twinhan app is doing it them maybe it's a driver issue. DMAN

| Yepp, the PCR PID is the same as the Video PID. I'm going to test with the latest Twinhan app now, if it's not working it's surely driver/card-related. I'll reply when it's done. Edit: Test is done and no luck with Twinhans software either so this got to be driver/card-related. The question is if it's just a problem for me or if there are more people out there that also discovered it? |
