Twinhan DVB-C ComHem

Hi!

Is there anyone who has an solution with ComHem that works???

I have a Twinhan DVB-C card, it works when running Twinhan software, but there are problems with Mediaportal.

I have done this...

1. Downloaded and installed BDA drivers V1.2.1.9 for the Twinhan card.
2. Downloaded and modified the latest CaptureCardDefinitions.xml file.
3. Added the card in Mediaportal, the card is found.
4. When running the autotune, it takes about 6 hours and found 0 channels

What next?!

No one?!

Isn't there anyone who have an working solution with Twinhan DVB-C cards?

If not, I suggest the Twinhan DVB-C card is removed from the MediaPortal compabilitylist.

I try the New version this week and the same think ....

The card is found after installing BDA drivers, but nothing in MediaPortal ...

And for information, After installing DBA Drivers, ProgDvb and Twinhan Software don't work ...

Hi yakari,

I use a Twinhan DVB-C mini FTA card and it works fine. My cable provider sends the normal tv package unencrypted so I don't need a smartcard. Do you have the version with CAM?

I use the 1.2.2.0 drivers from digitalrise.biz

This is correct, these are different drivers. Some HTPC programs use BDA while others use the supplied WDM drivers.

I have the Twinhan DVB-C card using Conax CAM module, for com hem.

I get it to work with the Twinhan software, but with problems. It is hard to get the channels to work. When scanning it finds different amount of channels each time, and when trying to watch them I also have problems.

With MP using latest BDA drivers I do not even get MP to see my card.

Hi I have now had a bit of a vacation from all this and got some new energy. I have installed the new version, Mediaportal_0.2.0_RC1 and everything looks better i.e MP can now see my Twinhan card, but it cannot find any channels with autotune. Has anyone got it to work?

I will also try with version 0.1.3 and see if it works there.

Please lets stick together now and we will get MP to work with this card.

I know that some cards needs do be tuned with its org-software before using MP because it's org-software does something with its firmware

i don't know if this works with Twinhan DVB-C...

I hope this will be solved cause i should buy one and use form my ComHem

I have now also edited my own config file for the card, in the tuning directory, and put in all the channels manually in it. But it still doesn't find anything.........

I will keep up the hope and finally we'll get it to work
