Mediaportal.log and record.log Fresh install of XP Pro, Newest Aver-media drivers for MCE-150, and Aver TV application. Newest Video drivers from Nvidia, windows updates. Thats it, otherwise clean system. Installed MP 0.2.2, default skin. Added card, autoscan, finds all the channels. Set recording drectory etc, and rebooted for good measure. Start MP, seems to work pretty good, except everything I record is in PAL resolution. I am NTSC, and want to record in 720x480, 29.97fps. I change card to this setting (In fact I did during initial setup) and no matter what I select, it goes to PAL 768x576. (I should clarify, the setup app shows that Ive selected 720x480 29.97, however the VIDEO that is actually recorded is 768x576 25fps) I can set the avermedia tv app to record in 720x480 or other resolution with no problem. (and it outputs what it says it is recording) What might be the problem with MP? This is really the last hurdle for me to use MP in the family room. I figured out how to set the quality settings, using graphedit and changing the defaults for the capture filter to 5Mbit CBR and 224Kbit/stereo. But I cannot find any place to change resolution other than in MP, which seems broken (for this card anyways). What can I do to help? Thanks! Jeff Last edited by jbrinker; 2007-02-19 at 20:55. |
