| nope, shouldn't matter even if it was. The program should know that if the pointer is hidden, it should make it visible since the user requested a screen that requires the use of the mouse pointer. when this screen is visible, the only way to exit out is reboot, or task kill. not good

| No Problem, I'm new to MP but have a few years of software testing and development. As a tester I love to break stuff and as a dev I love to fix stuff. Hopefully I can make a few worthy contributions.

Country: | An end user shouldn't use that menu, that's an old relict for some debugging long time ago. As some users are using it (and have a buggy MP, but that's their business), it's still there for playing around. So don't be surprised if you experience sth unexpected. As stated several times before, secondary screen is NOT supported due to lack of DirectX acceleration. That's a Microsoft problem. Search the forums for more information, please.

| Interesting, but other aps support the use of the secondary monitor and work fine. Meedio or Sage for example. And they also use DX

Country: | Googling both those applications showed they bothed used DX9 for the video renderer but not their interfaces. SageTv says its written in java and so would behave like a windows application (drag where ever you want). MP is rendered like a game, and just like a game, it doesnt like being shifted off the primary monitor. Googling "DirectX acceleration secondary monitor" co-incidentally showed BeyondTV having the same problem regarding the secondary monitor as MP does. |
