Default Unable to get ASUS MyCinema P7131 Dual to work

Hi

Have tried this with both the latest official version and the RC2!

When I try to set it up in the setup [Television/Capture Cards] I can see 3 entries:

Analog S/W encoding
Analog H/W encoding
Digital

The only one that work is the S/W encoding. H/W crash the setup program during tuning. Digital never find any stations.

Is there any way to get the H/W (or digital) to work with MP?

Thanks in advance

NB: Seam to work with the official software (that came with the card)

Its strange as the wiki ( http://www.team-mediaportal.com/doku...urecards/start ) lists it as supported. Couldnt find a lot but it seems the analogue portion is software so it wont be supported, but digital part should work fine.

Have you got the latest drivers for it installed?

Yes I have downloaded and installed the latest driver from the ASUS web pages (can only see the same version as the one that came with the card)

It may be that I have no digital TV (DVB-T) at my location in Denmark. At least I have connected the antenna to the right connector ;-)

Would really like to get the Analog H/W part working!

Is a programmer myself and the error seam to be very trivial from the progress bar.

During Auto H/W scan of channels it never find any channels come to the end quickly and gives me the following error box.

ERROR MESSAGE.......

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
