Dont know where to start with this one. :?

0200RC1 is no longer current, so if your going to use Release candidates then use RC2.

.Net will need to be upgraded to .net 2

Leadtek MPEG Muxer is not a Video codec.

A 1.3Ghz is just borderlining on minimum recommended requirements.

256mb of memory is a little to low, its the minimum recommeded by windows XP by itself. 512mb is definately recommended.

Software cards arent supported anymore so the recordings might not be starting, hence the 200kb size.

A GF4mx is a DX7 card so it falls much under spec.

I had this problem also but changed to the ffdshow codec and all worked fine after that.

Even with that said, software encoding is the suxxors. I just changed to the MCE 150, so much better & easier...
