Hi all,

I'm still relativlty new to MP, but I am finding my way through things and gald that I have discovered this awesome software. However there are a few serious problems that are spoiling the entire experience for me and not helping with the Wife Approval Factor..... I have searched and search and can't seem to find anyone describing these exact problems. I am using MP SVN 13107 and TVEngine 3 SVN 13108, I have all the latest driver from Compro and Microsoft. I have the client and server on the same machine.

i) Sometimes when I change channels the channel never appears, but instead it goes back to the begining of the timeshift buffer. and plays through everything I just watched... very annoying....

ii) sometimes when changing channels the MP Client just locks up, have to hard reset to recover.

ii) when I first install the TVEngine, scan for channels, make a group and start the client - all is well, I can view and watch all the channels (assuming I don't fall victim to problems i & ii) but if I have to reboot, after I start the client and turn on TV, I get an error saying 'Cannot Start Timeshift - unknow channel' it also says this if I go into TV Server Config and try start timeshift under Manual Control....it is then necessary to uninstall the entire TV Server and rescan for channels again, but sadly this will be lost once I reboot again....

To me these seem like fairly serious problems with the basic operation of MP, and almost render it useless to me. I am certain that I have followed all the install/unistall procedures corretly but I just keep landing back in the same spot, soplease advise if these problem have been addressed elswhere and if there is a possible fix

cheers.....

Just a follow up... I've rolled back the version of TVEngine 3 to SVN 12970 and it seem to have fixed all three problems, for now....... don't know if that helps or not....

cheers....
