US cable.. cant tune

Hello.

I am new to media portal and have just purchased a Hauppage 150 MCE and am trying to get it to work in mediaportal..

How can I get the channels working?? lol all I can see is austraila and a few other countrys when I click on add.

This is confusing.

If your country isnt listed, youll have to tune manually in configuration. If you have EPG you can use that to make a channel list (if you dont youll have to add them all manually) and then do an autoscan and it will find all stations which you have to assign to channels as you go.

ok i have updaterd the tvguide.xml and the channels are listed. when I go onto mediaportal and go to tv it lists the channels but wont let me turn on the tv.

does this mean I have to autotune? it gets stuck on channel 3 @ 61.25mhz
