USB IrDa Drivers, What drivers for this device ?

Hi all,

Running XP Pro, wondering if anyone knows what drivers for this device. I have the device with no box or anything, bought it a year ago and left it laying around.

Any help appreciated.

I found the drivers after opening the unit and do a search on the prolific pl2303 chipset. The drivers attatched seem to work.

Joel,

I noticed you were attempting to use an IrDA USB Device. I have one and I wasn't sure if it would work with Media Portal. Did you have any luck getting this to work with a remote control. I'm assuming you were using a remote that was MCE compatable.

Hi, i have the same Irda usb, i have a Windows XP SP2 with Media Portal and a MCE Remote Control (RC 6 Ver. 2), but i dont know if i can do that the irda usb can work with de MCE Remote Control, do you know if this will be possible or if iu have to buy anything else?.
