Default Use MP's volume control with S/PDIF passthrough

Hi,
Can I use MP's volume control with S/PDIF passthrough enabled?
I fear I can't but you can always hope (and ask)

You might want to check the thread below, and if you use a remote (like MCE remote) you can assign the volume to control your receiver volume in some cases.

When your using passthrough, its exactly that, your sound card has no control over the volume of whats leaving the spdif.

You can on the decoder end. For me, none of the windows sound controls changes the signal what so ever.

Of course it is. Changing the volume of a digital ac3/dts-encoded signal is very difficult, however.
