| I came across this tool that may be useful to people with suttering/dropped frames - or for new builds as a diagnostic tool. In short, a driver that is badly written may hog the CPU in one of its DPCs - this can starve other drivers - in a htpc that could be a cause of frame drops/stuttering. | Did it help you. I observed stutters in the similar configuration. Mine were due to stream errors. (Some say due to bad antenna). I have lots of "VMR9helper: Playing=>Repaint" events in the log. MPV/MPA handles this better, so I dropped PV for the time beeing.
