Value (WDM) Audio Card Driver: - Synopsis:: - No matter which audio codec I choose in "settings/My movies" MP is always using MPA decoder filter. This is not a major problem but when I watch movies (avi with AC3 sound) I sometimes watch in the bedroom where I do not have a receiver with dolby digital decoder and sometimes in living room where I have the dolby digital receiver. What I want is to use different codecs depending on what equipment I have in different roomts. For DVD movies this works excellent. I have Dscaler codec for S/PDIF passthrough and MPA for internal AC3 decoder. But no matter what I set for "My movies" MPA always is used. Is it just me or is this a bug? /Johan |

Country: | Is it only me who can not get MP to actually USE the audio codec of my choice in the settings? No matter what I use in MP movie settings MPA decoder filter is always used. I do not have this behaviour with DVD movies. There the audio codec set in DVD movies is actually used. |

Country: | Must be something odd about your particular setup - I can choose other audio decoders (like the CyberLink Audio Decoder) in My Movies and MediaPortal uses it. I have verified this by playing a video and then using GraphEdit to view the filter graph that MediaPortal has constructed. Sorry, but I can't even suggest what might be causing this issue for you .... What other audio decoders have you tried to use in My Movies? How have you verified what audio decoder MediaPortal has used? |
