Not too experienced with MP... I'm having trouble with "My Music". If I select a file folder and right click with my mouse (no remote yet) and select "add all to playlist". I get a playlist with say, 100 songs. The first song starts playing, and I go to the screen that allows me to view the playlist. After the first song finishes, it plays again, then again, then again. It will only go to the next song if I physically click "play next". If I hit "shuffle", it shuffles the songs in the playlist, but continues to only play the one song song over and over.

I checked my settings and I had "loop playlists" selected, but I thought that would just caused the entire playlist to replay when it finished. I tried unchecking that option, but MP still will only play 1 song over and over until I force it to do otherwise.

Do I have something set up incorrectly? I checked the "MP User Manual" but the section on using My Music hasn't been written yet...

Please help!

Are you sure that you are actually playing the file from the playlist? The reason I ask this is because when I first started using MP I would play a song and then queue more songs up. However, I never actually played the first song FROM the playlist. You can add songs to the list all day but until you switch to it and actually play the first song in the list (or the second, or third, etc.), MP will never use the playlist and simply repeat the same song. I hope that made sense.

Default Winamp in MP messing me up?

I think I know what you're saying... but yeah, I'm starting at song 1. I can tell because I choose "view playlist" and I can see the list of songs, and I can see that it is playing the first one.

I did notice though, and I don't know how I did it, but MP is launching Winamp to play the mp3's. I create a playlist in Winamp, but I can see that Winamp has been launched and only the first song has been loaded... The internal player is set to use Windows Media Player. In fact, Winamp isn't even a choice in the MP Setup. A friend of mine is using MP and using the default internal player and is not having these issues. Thus, I'm assuming it's my use of Winamp that is screwing things up. Problem is, I don't know why MP is launching Winamp and I can't find any settings with which to turn it off...

It's in configuration, under plugins. You probably have the winamp plugin activated. Disable it and it will use the internal player.

Ay carumba! That was it. Must be a bug with the winamp plugin. Why won't winamp play the entire playlist? Oh well. I'm using the internal player now and it's working fine. Thanks for the help!
