USING SVIDEO OUT ON HAUPPAUGE PVR 350

1. when playing videos in 'my videos' the video signal is not being outputted to the svideo out on my hauppauge pvr 350 tv card. is there a setting that needs to be made in mediaportal to facilitate this. it works fine when using hauppauge's own win tv 2000 application..... please advise.

2. the gui of mediaportal seems a bit low quality compared to the rest of my windows xp screen quality. is this normal for the latest version of media portal and if not what should be done to provide a shardp screen resolution?

MediaPortal uses DirectX9 and depends on the graphic card's output.

The quality depends on the skin you choose - B2 e.g. is for PAL = 720x576

so am i correct in understnading that what you are saying is that mediaportal cannot send video signals out of the s-video out on the hauppauge pvr 350 tv card??? correct????

Correct. The output can't render stuff, only output TV using WinTV.
