Default VFD display not working with 0.2.3.0 RC1

I just upgraded to MP 0.2.3.0 RC1 and I cannot get the media information displayed on my VFD on my Antec Fusion case. I have the driver installed and I can see it in device manager. I have enabled the external display plugin and selected iMon, USB but when I start MP I get nothing. I have tried with and without the default software for the VFD running and still no joy. I did recently install the latest drivers for it too. Does anybody have this problem, or know how to get it working?

Thanks
Allan

Choose the "Soundgraph Imon" driver under the plugin it works here.
The earlier iMon driver doesn't work.

Ah, I was chosing only the iMon driver, not the Soundgraph Imon driver - works now - thanks )

I read somewhere that there is a problem with the VFD software and booting up from standby mode - I am experiencing a restart here which is annoying - has this been remedied in any way?

Also, when I start watching TV it is quite jerky unless I pause for a few seconds and then continue. Which part of my sytem would be the most beneficial to avoid this? I have just bought another 1GB ram which I am going to install tomorrow.

Many Thanks
Allan

I have just upgraded the RAM to have 1.5GB and the video still pauses and skips unless I watch TV a few seconds behind 'live'.

@dman_lfc

I have the Silverstone GD01MX with VFD.
And my Display will not work with MediaPortal :-(
I choose Plugin in the IMON Software, and choopse IMON Soundgraph USB Driver in the ExternalDisplay Plugin.

Have another Idea

You need to disable the program that displays info on the VFD in windows - MP used to be able to override this but doesnt any more so you need to let MP be the only program using the VFD.

yes i think so - All I did was install the driver that came with the vfd, set it to never load its own software and then configure MP to do its job...
