Video file plays, no picture.

Hey ppls.
I just installed the full "stable" version of 0.2.3 and have run into a problem. I can play videos but when i press full screen it jumps back to the gui. It flashes up the movie for half a second everytime i press fullscreen/gui button but then quickly goes back to the gui.
I have been using 0.2.3 RC3 quite happily since it came out so its a bit frustrating. Please help!

Bit of background. Its a winxp machine with Radeon 9550 with latest drivers running on the secondary monitor. Like i said before, no such problems with RC3 and nothing else new been installed. Am back to RC3 with no probs.

Am very much looking forward to MP2!!!!!

I have the same problem using my old GeForce 2...

I would recommend downgrading your graphics drivers. Try using a driver version that came out just after your card. Fileplanet.com has a lot of old drivers available for download. You could also try using the driver that came with your card.

The other thing it may be is a DirectX issue, or a codec issue.

I had this problem also... you have to disable VMR9 exclusive mode in the config:
