I dont finde any related issues after seaching on forum, so ill post my problem.
iam having problem when playing any kinde of video media file, when i trying to open a file in mp nothing happens it just blinks. when trying to play mkv files Hali media splitter icon appears on try for a sekund and dissapears after that, ive tried all possible kinde of codecs including MPs own codecs same effect.

Would appreciate any help

Do these files play in WMP11.

mkv can be any kind of filetype, in haali media splitter, have you got "load VS filter on start" enabled.

Does Gooses guide not help MEDIAPORTAL - free MediaCenter HTPC Software - simple mediaportal codec guide

If you supplied MP logs (start menu MP\MP logs collector) and upload them using forum advanced + feature, is there any directx errors showing, as these can be video\audio driver issues.

Wel, i uninstalled RC1 and installed RC2 and it seems this fixed the proglem, however a new problem arised iam getting this message when starting MP "Your version 6.5.2600.2749 of quartz.dll had too many bugs!" iam aware that this could be a directx related problem so i reinstalled directx nothing happens, so is there any solution for this problem?

Wel, unfortunately that patch is not available in swedish lang, i hope there are other solutions out there

This seems to be the same problem ???, not referenced as much as I had hoped, I am having similar issues.
See the post by "RichiB" (14 Agust 08) and test the solution there, it might work for you?
(Maybe one day I'll figure how to link between posts??)

i believe the problem was solved for me by uppdating to .NET 3 red package. Hope this helps other with the same problem.
