Videos lock up for 10 seconds and then resumes

Memory: 1GB DDR
Motherboard Chipset: BioStar
Video Card: Gigibyte fx5200
Video Card Driver: 81.98
Video Render Type: VMR9 - renderless
Video Codec Type & Version: Nvidia.. and others
Audio Codec Type & Version: Cyberlink or nvidia

This is an issue I have been having... and it's been around for a couple versions. I will be watching a recorded show from my theatre. While watching it at random times... it will studder and then lock up. The sound keeps playing over and over for about 10 seconds and then it resumes. Has anyone else seen this issue? Do I have something set up wrong? IF anyone has any more info on this please let us know.

I have been testing this again.. and this still happens. I actally just reloaded RC2 and the latest CVS... and during a show I was watching (recorded) it did the same thing. Have anyone else ever experenced this?

Can you rule out any external processes?
