Vista problems

I have a problem with MediaPortal on my Vista Ultimate X86 DK. When i start MediaPortal, a message appears on the screen, saying i need WMP9 or 10, but Vista is born with WMP11. Why is this message appearing?

Which version of MediaPortal are you using, because have not seen or heard of that message in a long time.
