Visualizations not hardware accelerated

Hi,

I notice poor performance of the visualizations during music playback.
But when running windows media player standalone the visualizations
are running smooth. Probably hardware acceleration for visualizations
are not enabled in Media Portal. Is there a setting to enable this in
media portal?

Depends usually on what oomph your graphics card has, because MP uses directx, any weakness will show.

My system specs are:

Intel pentium 4 2.6 GHz
768 MB RAM
NVidia 7600 GS 256MB (AGP 4x)
Creative Audigy SB ZS

Media Portal 2.3.0

But if I run Windows Media player standalone the visualizations runs very, very smooth. Does
media portal takes a lot of the GPU when playing music? Seems a little strange. It look the
hardware acceleration in media player isn´t or cannot enabled in Media Portal.

Is it not simply a bug? Thanks.

Upload Logs\Pictures etc, use the "Go Advanced" and select the + feature to upload\attach files.
