There seems to be a skin (Xface) related error in your logs, try first default skin (Blue Two/Blue Two Wide) and see if it makes any difference.

There's also database connection errors so your MP / TV-server installation seems to be a bit messed up.

Thanks for the reply.

TV errors could be that my card isnt set up yet as thats for another day, but set up the MP ready.

As for database connections - WTF !!! This whole area of MP is un-known to me so any explanations etc would be great.

I have removed and re installed MP and it hangs during the boot sequence at the " Windows Plug in " section. Also in config utility all tabs work fine save for the plug ins which hang for ages and then respond.

I have managed to get MP to just about start yet the hault at win plug ins last for about 60 seconds or more !!!

I have removed all skins save for default 2 and still get the same problems !!

[anyone see anything strange in my logs to see why this is causing problems. i hav ere downloaded and installed MP and still have same issue.

found a thread with same issue on a vista pc which was fixed by adding verdonna font to target machine ???????? Apparantly some install file calls for this ? Im not convinced on this but really clutching at straws now - spent most of the chuffing day on this and am now sooo regretting changing from 0.2.3.0
