Vitux,
You need to provide a bit more explenation for people to be able to help.

Are you using a dedicated HTPC or is it a general useage pc which also runs MediaPortal?

Can you clearly explain what you are doing when the volume changes, what MP is doing, what other programs are running, does it happen with TV only or witn TV/Video/Music.?

Does the volume chages when you change channel, or does it change during watching a channel?

how is your amplifier or av processor connected for sound, audio connections or SPDIF?

The volume changes during watching a channel... I have 5.1 speakers connected directly to soundcard... With original WinTV hauppage software there are no problems...

Have you changed audio renderer.

There is nothing inside MP to make this happen, in fact this is a first.

try changing the key you use for volume up, maybe something is sending that. if you have a remote try also not maping the remote to the volume, just to try to find where the issue is.

I have had at times soem channels (HD channels) play at full volume regardless of the setting of mediaportal, maybe that is related (although I think probably not). does your mediaportal volume bar appare and does it acuratly represent the volume level or does the volume change without efecting that?
