Default Weird problem with pvr 350

When ever I record a show on the cartoon network I get a fuzzy line at the top of the video. It doesn't matter what I use to record it or what I use to play it back.

I never had this problem before until I formatted the other day and had to reinstall everything. I seem to remember there being a special way to setup the hauppage card, but I can't find any info on it now.

Any help would be much appreciated.

What Hauppauge drivers do you use... and anyway you don't give ANY info on your hardware and software.

This also happens in Hauppauge TV software or only MP?

There is no special way to setup PVR-350. Mine is not treated in any special way the last 3.5 years I use it.

Sorry about the lack in info.

I'm using the hauppauge 1.18 drivers. I have the same problem no matter what I use to record. I've tried MP, SageTv, and the hauppauge program.

system specs:
athlon 64 3000+
512mb pc 2700
radeon 9600
hauppage 305
msi nforce 4 mobo

I don't think the specs really matter though, I had an old build with completely different hardware aside from the hauppauge card and had the same problems at first. I just can't remember what the solution was.

your specs are ok... but since your problem is not DIRECTLY related to mediaportal, probably here is the wrong place to look...

your drivers I am not so sure if they are ok...

latest certified driver CD is hcw2_2_0_43_24108_pp2 and you should look for it here:

http://www.shspvr.com/smf/

...that is also the place to ask your PVR350 questions

good luck
