Why no fix for the NVTV bug?

Alot of ppl have problems with the nvtv based cards! Why does it seem that nobody is trying to fix this anymore? I mean it has to be a problem with Media Portal as it works is media center and also in the new media center in Windows Vista.

The fix with using the other driver causes my pc to go to blue screen so thats not good. And besides there is nothing wrong with the card or its drivers. To me its quite clearly a problem with MP.

I dont mean to seem rude or anything here but i would so like to use MP in stead of MC and have been patiently viewing this site for mounts now hoping for a sullution.

I saw that nvtv worked on earlier editions of MP so there has to be a way for the develoeprs to figure out what the fault is. Im convinced that MP kicks MC's ass but iv been unable to put this teory to the test.

As DMAN already stated in this thread, nobody of the team devs has such a card. So unless someone else submits a patch for it, chances are bad that it gets fixed, as all attempts to fix it without having such a card failed, as you can also see in that thread.
So either someone else submits a fix or someone sends a card to DMAN (based in UK), so he can try to fix it.
I hope this clears it up why there's no fix for you. :wink:
