Won't scan in new Channels for DVB-S

Hi

I have a Twinhan Sat-CI, which is working fine with it's proprietry drivers. I then installed the BDA drivers for it, and tried running it on mediaportal. Mediaportal detects the card, and lets me go into the settings etc.

I had to create a new satellite file (a tpl file)

and told it to do a scan. Unfortunately, it won't pick up any channels, and is showing the signal strength and quality as 0. Does anyone know how i can tune it in?

Windows XP SP2
P4 1.9ghz with 512mb ram
ATI Radeon Sapphire 9250

btw, the satellite i'm trying to tune in is:

INSAT 2E, which is 83degrees east

It's a C-Band, and is meant to be 5150

My question now, does Mediaportal provide LNB power? I need LNB Power to be "ON", but i can't find the setting there, perhaps that's my problem?

forget it, used gbpvr and it scanned in first time no problems.
