Default Would like standbye when TV Immediate recording is finished

Hi all,

I am not using timeshifting.
When I am too tired in the evening, I would like mediaportal to record the end of the movie on TV and at the end, go in standbye.
Currently, at the end of the recording, the timeshifting is activated and the PC is running during all the night.
Is there a different way to proceed ?

Thank you to all developper for this great software.

there sure is. go to the configuration / plugins.

there you see the powersheduler plugin. activate it.

the standard setting is, that after 3 minutes of idle time (wich means : no movements, no played media, and no recordings and beeing in home or basic homescreen only) he goes to hibernation. instead of hibernation you could also tell im to go standby., you will see, it#s pretty self-explaining.

FYI: it also wors the opposite way. menaing: you are away and have several recordings sheduled. then the pc will wake up for every recording and went sleeping after again.

hope that was clear to you - feel free to ask if not (-;

Thanks smnnekho but I am not sure to understand:
I am using what you are describing to do a scheduled record. It is working fine.
But when I decide to record the movie I am watching (immediate recording), mediaporal do not go to standbye, because at the end of the recording, it is activating timeshifting (even if I am on the homescreen). It is never idle, so it never goes for standbye.
Is there something I am missing ?

Hi,

Just press stop after you've entered the home screen (the recording will continue). As soon as the recording is finished, the PowerScheduler will notice this and put the system in suspend/hibernate mode.

Kind regards,
Michel
