Country:  |  Yet another cpu requirements question I was hoping to use my old pc as a low cost HTPC and am wondering if it would work at all, and where to put the next $ 120: 1) Install Mediaportal on my current XPSP2 and buy a graphics card like ASUS GeForce 8500GT 512MB DDR2 2) Upgrade my XP to Windows XP - MCE 3) Upgrade to Vista Home Premium I know it is probably one of the most repeated questions but your help is much appreciated Windows Version: XP SP2 CPU Type: AMD 1.1MHz HDD: 60Gb ( 20 Gb used) + 320Gb external ( 300 Gb used) Memory: 1Gb (512 + 512) Video Card: Not Yet decided [Sound Card: HDA Digital - X-Plosion 7.1 DTS Connect Chris |
