Nice work!

I have thing about that problem after you statement now.

A channel have always 2 names, the visible and the real name ... right?
And witch name change the likage scanner? both?
And wich name use the OSD? both?

Maybe, when the OSD use the real name for intern organisation and show always the visible, then the eseast way is that the Linkage Scannel change only the visible name. Then the intern name of the channel is always the same.

Or i am on the wrong way?

Only the DisplayName is changed by the "LinkageScanner". The DisplayName is also used by TvOsd. The problem was, that there is a method that tries to find the channel based on a given string. This string was the new displayname (after the rename) but the method searched through a list that does only contain the previous name of the channel...

If you have "linkage scanner" enabled ( Tv-Server -> general settings -> scan), press F9 on your keyboard or i (INFO) on the Microsoft MCE remote and select "subchannels".

hi,

am using the latest SVN(at date) and M seem to be unable to detect the subcgannels.
I`ve enabled the linkage scanner and if I tune to premiere direkt portal and select subcannels I only see one option: Portal (no d1, d2, ...)

Anyone else having this problem?
