I guess thats not easy to answer..

Everyone has different hardware/Different OS and or wishes how to use it..

My setup is a standalone server (only with tvserver)..
and multiple clients..
the build from 20-03-2008 is rocksolid in my configuration and seems the best one of the 16 different ones i have used..
I use floppydtv on DVB-C

Thanks.

As you have tried so many, I assume you are an expert now. What is the correct process for installing each nightly build?

Do you do all of these?
- uninstall TV engine
- uninstall mediaportal
- install svn of media portal
- install nightly build of TV engine

I dont do uninstalls :-) I have ghost images of a fully patched and configured everything .. codecs.. sql ..studio .. all accept TVserver ... It makes it a lot easier to test different builds.. just load this image.. and I have a clean start..

Have done the same with my clients.. all accept svn build and tv client ..

Within 10 minutes I have any version running that I want to try with client and server on the same version...

I also ghost them seperatly after install .. so I can revert back to any version i want .. (i save approx the last 10 builds for client and server) ...

But the version of 20-03 is the most responsive (tvserver that is)..
when I click on tv config.. the config screen almost popsup instantly.. and other versions take up to 30 seconds before the config screen is showed.. dont know what the reason is behind that

Its still ßeta.. so unexpected things can always happen remember that..
