Default Can't find SVT HD and other HD channels ?

I have a' TT S2 3200 DVB S2 card and the latest Tv server + SVN build. When I scan for channels I find almost everything except the HD channels? The only HD channel it finds is Canal + HD .

Can not find SVT HD and Canal + Sport HD

I'm searching at 0.8 Thor and 5.0 sirius..

Plz can someone give me a' hint what to do .

Canal+ Film HD is sent compliant with DVB-s but the other channels you refer to are sent compliant to DVB-s2 (8psk modulation).

My guess is that TV server don't have support for DVB-s2 yet but can't say that I know or have searched the forums.

Could also be the satellite descriptions that doesn't include the muxes that is sent with DVB-s2

It says like this at MP and Tvserver support :

"For receiving DVB-S2 channels you'll need a DVB-S2 tv card like the TechnoTrend 3200. A normal DVB-S card is unable to receive DVB-S2 channels since DVB-S2 channels use another kind of modulation.

For tuning DVB-S2 channels you'll need to have a seperate .ini file in the tuningparameters folder. A default one for Astra 19.2 is already supplied "

This *.ini file what's that?

Can someone confirm that this is working in MP ?

Download the latest transponder files (Update satellite list button) and
then edit transponder 18 and 19 in the 0.8°W Thor 2_3.ini to look like this

18=11421,H,25000,8psk,2/3
19=11434,V,25000,8psk,2/3

Rescan and the dvb-s2 HDTV channels should be found.

Hi.

I tried ffdshow I get two codecs "ffdshow video decoder, ffdshow raw video filter".

Power DVD " Cyberlink Video/SP Decoder (PDVD7) .

They work in preview mode at Tv server but when I try in MP it crashes. Have to restart HTPC.

I have the same problem, and even after changing the ini file. It still reports no signal on those transponders when scanning

The problem with scanning the channels is fixed for me now. The proposal from jaobr did the trick.

As Ive have the same problem with wieving the channels from Tex SVT HD and so... ive tested alot of codecs with the same result, no go....

But when i prewiev them in Tv server setup then the channels shows up?! But not in Mediaportal.

I get sound (mostley anyway...) but no image in MP.
