configuration TV server

I want TV streamining through the network.
On WIKI website is many manuals about TVserver
I read the follow configuration.
Server (with TVcard):
- microsoft SQL server
- TV server

Client:
Mediaportal + latest svn build
MediaPortal Client Plugin

I have two questions.
1) Now I can only look TV on the client, but I want also look TV on the server
Wich configuration mus I follow ????
2) What does the program latest svn build, why I have used it

You can install the MediaPortal client (+ MediaPortal Client Plugin) on the TV server PC as well in order to watch TV on this PC. Each PC on the network which has the client installed shares your TV-Server.

The latest SVN build is the most recent patch for the latest stable build. So you need the latest stable build (0.2.3 RC1) + nightly SVN build to get an up to date version of MediaPortal.

What is the different between mediaportal 02.3 RC1 and svn build
I think that mediaportal is use on a standalone computer an svn build on de client in a network with TV-server on the server. On the client I have need also the client plugin of the TV server.
Is that true ?????;

SVN build = 0.2.3 RC1 + latest patch (the patch is called "SVN build").

MediaPortal (=0.2.3 RC1 + latest patch) is an application which CAN be used as standalone MediaCenter software. If you however want to stream TV over your network you need the MediaPortal TV-Server on the pc with your TV-card. You can watch TV afterwards on any PC on your network which has the MediaPortal 0.2.3 RC1 + latest patch installed. You MAY as well install this MediaPortal 0.2.3 RC1 + latest patch on the PC with the MediaPortal TV-Server (which contains the TV-Card) to watch TV on it.

hint: you need to install the tv-server client plugin on all PC's you like to watch TV on. This plugin is contained in the MediaPortal TV-Server download.

SVN is development-version.
There are updates and bugfixes every day which go directly to a central repository. And once (sometimes twice) a day it's compiled to a installable version.

I'm working on one PC with MSQL-server/Tvserver/plugin and MP
During the install of Tvserver the database MSQL-server is connected succeed.
After the scan of TV stations in Tvserver I can with preview seen that the TV stations working correct
But when I install first MP 0.2.3 C1 and then de plugin I can't find in MP the rule MY TV .
What is wrong ????

after such a clean installation, "MyTV" is in "Plugins" section on homescreen.

you can change that in MediaPortal Setup -> Plugins
right click the MyTV Plugin -> "Show on Homescreen"

Then I get a screen with server name or ip adres. I choose for the hostname of the TV server.
After that I get a new screen with the follow rules: MtTV, unable to connect to tv server, connected to database
I have open different firewal ports'.
How can I connected to the tv server (tv service is also started)
Who can me help futher ??

is the Server Browser service started?

Yes the SQL-server is startted automatic
Can I test with a tool the connection or can I in a log file follow the connection proces or something else ???
