Configuring with PixelView PlayTV Xtreme

I am trying to configure this card to work with MP. But MP cant find any channels. I am attaching the logs in the hope that someone can make more sense out of it than I can. I know the card is set up correctly as the trial version of SageTV had no problems scanning for and displaying the channels.

In reading thru the logs, I keep on seeing the following:

1) In error.log "missing audio compressor filter"
2) In tv.log "failed to add audio compressor. you must install a supported audio encoder"

Can this be the source of the problem? Also, how can I find out if it supports hardware mpeg or software mpeg?

Checked out the website, just no or very little info on this card, this makes me suspect its software based, as manufacturers do like emphasising the H\W encoding in there sales pitch.

Have you got the manufacturers software installed for the codecs\filters needed.

Yes, I have the manufacturer's software installed and it works fine.
