Question Video Quality

Hi,

I just successfully installed MP with TVserver RC1 and installed the Tv Server Client plugin for MCE so that I could view satellite through my 360. My issue is that I noticed the TV video quality on my XBOX is not even remotely as good as it is through my FTA Receiver on the same TV. Are there any settings anywhere that control this? Streaming bitrate or something like that perhaps?

I am using Vista Ultimate 32bit if this helps at all.

Thanks for your help.

I see that now.

Thought that was related to the earlier error in June.
I guess Uffe Heerfordt is on vacation. Does anyone know from where he grabbs the epg info? I feel kind of helpless

Vlukinius: If you go to Heerfordts homepage, you can download the source code. This shows which sources he uses to compile the complete EPG.

Does anyone know of a good alternative for the swedish channels? The waf is droping dramatically here

Tried SweDB but it only contains half of the channels that I need ...

The Comhem DVB EPG sucks so thats not an alternative...

Yes, tvxb works great as an alternative..! All tv-channels available on dagenstv.com can be grabbed for 14 days.

TVxb - the world's TV schedule grabber!

Then you configure your own .ini file with this excellent excel-tool;

http://www.gothager.se/tmp/TVxb-chan...rator_v2.1.zip

Just mark the channels you want, then generate an .ini file for tvxb.

Yes, a bit more work but it works. Don't forget to re-map the channels with xmltv2.

If anyone gets problems with a working .ini file, I can provide one for Swedish Canal Digital and Viasat(satellite) as well as Boxer, all channels. Just PM me.

But let's hope heerfort has a nice vacation and gets back with a new version .

Had a look at tvxb but I decided not to use it since I guess you run into the same problems as with WebEPG, i.e. dagenstv.com changes the layout rendering the EPG grabber not working.

I'll use plain xmltv(swedb) until heerfort gets the problem sorted out.
