hello and thanks for this great guide wich I have been using for quite some time now, however I have encountered a problem. I have just bought myself a new server for the tv stuff, and installed vista on it. And every time I try to install your guide service it stops. Giving me error code 2869. I am running the setup file as administrator.

I have tried every user and right settings I can find, but no luck. I don't know what to do next

Any hep would be appreciated!

Hi Dingo!

Let me guess that you are using the Upgrade (whatever it's called) option?

I had the same problem at one point, and my solution was just to run install clean.

Actually a complete fresh install on a completely new machine :s I have no clue what to do now..

Hi,

I've tried your tool today in a fresh Vista Ultimate environment on my DELL PC with an Hauppauge WinTV Nova S DVB-S PCI card.

Well, it worked, but the channel switching is awfully slow and it seems not to be possible to change channels via numeric keys, which is impractical with some hundreds of channels.

Are there some tuning or optimizing capabilities on my side?

I'm missing a few channels in the EPG:
VH1 Classic
History Channel HD

These are all part of the Canal Digital Family package.

Would it be possible to get these channels added to the list of channels the service downloads?
Is there any way that I can contribute to make this happen?

And just out of curiosity: Where does the EPG service get it's information from?

Heerfordt. It seems that the files thats downloaded (7Z) are empty.
Do you know whats wrong?

I'm using Sweden/Comhem settings
