| Hi! I have been running Media Portal for a while and I and my wife are very pleased. Today I installed the TV-enginge and for me it seems like a big improvment. The only thing I can't figure out is how to get the EPG working. I am using a analog hauppauge card and I used to grab the EPG with xmltv. I did get it to work with the TV-engine for a while but suddenly all EPG is gone. Tried to look around here but couldn't find how it should be set up or where to put teh xmltv code. All EPG should be configured in the server right? but how does the MP-setup handle this? It seems that it is still pointing out the xmltv directory even though I tried to delete it. Anyway, can someone help me in this? Regards Anders Sweden |

Country: | In the properties for the TV Server, in the plugins section, you can specify where the tvguide.xml file is located. There seems to be a known issue for some people. XMLTV no longer importing?? I am having issues with EPG updating too. Last edited by Marcusb; 2007-03-18 at 00:58. |

Country: | Seems many have not seen the checkbox that you need to enable when you click on plugins. This did the trick for me, instantly. EPG and TVguide with xmltv works perfect for me. |
