StaticMan,

I've rememberd something that helped me with setting up channels in TVE3, and it goes in the line of what Trevor is saying.

When I first installed my PVR500, channels from STB1 where on Card1->SVHS1 and channels on Card2 where on Card2->SVHS2.

That leaded to a more complicated setup with TVE3 since I needed every channel duplicated set up for each input (SVHS1 and SVHS2) and then combine them on a single channel.

I realized that there was an extra connection in the PVR500 to connect the aditional connectors (there are 2 of them). When I moved from one to the other, my Card2 was not using SVHS2 anymore. It was using SVHS1 !!! Then everything was easier. I had the same channels with the same input (Card1>SVHS1 and Card2->SVHS1).

So tuning worked perfectly. I just had to add a channel, tell witch input to use and map it to both cards.

Look into your PVR500 and maybe this can help you. P

@joboehl

You just jogged my memory there, really need to open up my case now and see if I conencted the ribbon cabe to header 1 or 2 but header 2 comes to mind. Also seem to rememeber the rather scappy bit of paper maskerading as a manual was not much help in deciding which header to plug into!

@StaticMan

Based on this it would pay to do the checks I outlined above trying the exapansion in both headers, if I have chance will have a look to see how I have configured tonight.
