It would be helpfull if someone tell us what codecs to use..

I'm on Windows Vista ultimate 32
Multi seat and using Microsoft Codec for Mpeg2 and CoreAcc for H246

With the new Filter I don't see nothing, If I change to old Filter, everything is great

Using MP 15254 and TVserver 15254.. Pluging 15223 since Build 15254 of the pluging is not working

Its working pretty good here, but you guys still experience problems.
Ah well.. we'll just try to fix those too
Yeah. I know exactly what you mean... I experienced the same thing during the first phase of my WorldMap plugin. Everything runs perfectly smooth here but some users where not even able to open the context menu... I guess that is something a developer has to live with

But back to topic: I hope to find some time to test the new filter again this weekend. There are no reports about the "timeshift" bug since some versions. Is this bug already fixed or has nobody that was facing this bug tested the later versions?

Bye
Lars

i have just tested the latest build.

switchspeed in multiseat less then 2 seconds.

no troubles when switching from an channel with AC3 active to an other one.

only issue i encountered are short display of mpg-artefacts after zapping or after un-pausing LiveTV.

if i go back a few seconds and watch the buffer, then no artefacts are visible, so the tsbuffer files are okay

navigating through timeshift buffer never brought me to a wrong "location". i also was always on live-point after channel changes.

great step forward.

codecs used MPV/MPA
MP rev.15265

Great i-loop, glad it works for you too:-)

I think i must have done 1000+ channel zaps today and
found 2 more bugs which are now solved in svn 15264
- tvplugin now first seeks to end of timeshift buffer before zapping (was the otherway round)
- seeking to begin or end of timeshift file sometimes failed

Those should be codec dependend - MPV for example displays artifacts when stream infos are missing whilst nvidia's decoder would simple leave out those frames, etc...

i have just noticed something.

if tsreader is enabled then:
  • in singleseat MediaPortal tries to play a recorded mpg with TSreader in MyTV -> recordings
  • MediaPortal tries to play recorded mpgs with TSreader in MyVideos

Code:
2007-07-20 16:37:06.562500 [Info.][MPMain]: TSReaderPlayer:add TsReader to graph
2007-07-20 16:37:06.562500 [Info.][MPMain]: TSReaderPlayer: open file with mediatype:S:\Archiv\Serien\Caillou\Caillou - 2007-06-23 - 07_40_00_cut.mpg
2007-07-20 16:37:08.578125 [Info.][MPMain]: TSReaderPlayer:render TsReader outputs
and both fails of course

Question Skip in recorded tv not working ?

Hi

Just updated to tve3 15264 and tested the new tsreader (multi-seat configuration), it works great here except that when skipping forward in a recorded tv-show MP just stop playing the show.

Hmm, pressing stop on the Microsoft Remote doesn't work either.
