Here are my logs for the timeshift buffer problem.
The following zappin I did in these logs:

1. Tune 1st channel.
2. Tune 2nd channel on another transponder (timeshift buffer started from beginning).
3. Tune 3rd channel on same tp as in point 2 - timeshift buffer okay.
4. Tune 4th channle on new tp - timeshift buffer started from beginning.
5. Tune 5th channel on same tp as in point 4 - no problem with buffer.
6. Tune back on 4th channel on same tp - no problem.
7. Tune back to 2nd channel on another tp - problem occurs.

Keep up the good work frodo and the rest of MP team!

Best regards
Patrik

@infinityloop:

I have the "no video but audio" issue with Cyberlink and nVidia and MPA/MPV.

Please find atthed all logs with Cyberlink codecs and TT S2-3200 TV card.

After changing to the channel "Das Vierte" (=change from scrabled transponder to FTA transponder), the screen is black but audio plays fine. Changing to another FTA channel does not fix the problem.

Hope this helps.

The option to recreate the graph is not needed for tsreader
and can better be disabled

NOTE!!!
Please disable all options in the tv plugin setup like
- prefer ac3
- recreate graph when video changes
- recreate graph when audio changes

Hi Frodo,

I have had these options turned off - but still the same problem with the timeshift buffer.

See my logs in previous posts.

Hello Frodo,

I tried the new tsfilter like you told me here:
http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/pr...g-p165476.html

And now the audio language changing works on disney channels. The correctly and swiftly change between all the listed 4 languages. Only problem I can find is that it still lists the languages as "mpeg2:nor" and not "Norwegian".

Also, preselecting norwegian in the tvclient config works perfect

When it comes to cartoon network which has "mpeg1:swenor" and "mpeg1:denfin" these still gives two languages at the same time, one in each speaker. But like I said before, this was also an issue in the old mediaplayer.

I have had some sporadic problems like picture freeze after about 20 minutes or sth watching a channel, the audio continues in the background. Also, the mp app crashed last night at some point. Now I have disabled all the options you told about in the tvserver plugin as these were enabled and we will see if this works any better.

Good work

I experienced another problem:

after standby I could only watch/play the buffer file
which had been created before I entered standby.

what I did:

1) fresh start of your HTPC and TV-Server
2) Start MP and tune to a channel (mtv in this case)
3) Stop TV and go to Homescreen
4) let Powerscheduler enter standby
5) resume PC from standby
6) enter MyTV and tune to a channel

no matter what channel I tuned or how often I (de)activatd MyTv,
only play the buffer file played

all logs:
http://home.arcor.de/flokel/problem%...20-%20logs.zip

edit: I'm not quite sure if this problem is related to the new filter or not,
will do some more testing asap

This was the "golden" information to me.

The option "recreate graph when video specs changes" was still enabled by me.
Now the only option that is enabled is the last one (try to avoid seeking...)

From my brief testing the timebuffer problem is gone!
Changing between SD and HD (h.264) seems absolutely reliable. (It was exactly the other way around with the old filter)
The only remaining problem for me is the unusable fast forward/backward (it works but is more a collection of still images... ) . Skipping fore and back works perfect.

So for me we're at 95% ... and I guess you will be able to fix the remaining 5% as well.

once again for your great job.

I will try to use the new filter from now on... I will report after using it in the "prime time"

Bye
Lars

If I switch "prefer AC3" off, then I have only stereo sound but no AC3 sound.
Why should I switch that off?

It's not supported by TsReader yet.

you can still manualy switch the audio-track after you tuned the channel.

this issues will be looked at, but first the other bugs have to be fixed
