Any particular reason we can't use this in a multi-seat environment? I'd love to test it out but I can't use single-seat because the server I've setup isn't equiped to run the MP client. |

But the muli-seat part is not done yet in MP itself Give it a few days and you can test the filter in multi-seat as well |

Hi all.
I was able to do some brief testings (15052 for tve3 and MP) yesterday evening. Unfortunately the results are not that good, right now. With the new filter enabled MPG2 (Pal) was stuttering in a 1 second interval. HDTV was even more worse. The the tsfilesource.ax from <15018 (last release version was 15008) copied into the MP folder it was both (PAL&HDTV) absolutely unviewable. If I disable the new filter everything is like it was before... that means I have use the tsfilesource.ax from version 15008 to be able to see HDTV. With a newer version of this file (the 928KB version) it is jumpy like hell. ![]() I use the Cyberlink PowerDvD 7.3 codec for both (PAL & HDTV) which seams to be a good solution (at least till 15008). Of course I will test the newer version this evening. Bye Lars @Frodo: Let me know if you need some more details.

Hi,
I tested todays SVN (15060) and the new filter does not work for me at all. If I make MP to use that filter, the TV comes up but shows only a still image, there is no sound. If I try to switch channels, MP hangs and does not respond any more. I had to kill it via the Windows task manager. I am using a TT S2-3200 with BDA driver 5.0.0.2. Logs attached. Best regards, Andreas @Frodo: This is off-topic but the CI interface does not work anymore after hibernate with the driver 5.0.0.2. Maybe you could have a look at that as well? |

@Frodo: I just tested the latest version (tve and mp at 15060).
Well. I would love to say something else but my result are the same as before. With MP using the new filter pal is stuttering every second and H.264 is mostly not working at all. Without the new filter pal is ok but h.264 is stuttering like all till I replace the tsfiledource.ax with the one from 15008. I guess the logs will not help much, but if you interested in the logs I will post then asap. Bye Lars

Here the same.
With the new filter (SVN 15060) its stuttering like it's using 100% CPU (wich is NOT). Although zapping is visible faster then the old filter (wich gave a lot of problems when zapping) the image is like slowmotion. Something I can test more? just say it. I think with this new filter my zapping problem is close to be gone ![]() Thanks for the hard work Groeten uit maasdijk Greetz, Dekkers |

Hi Frodo,
I tested with SDTV and as I said, its not working at all for me. Are you also using the TT S2-3200? Please have a look at the traces that I have posted before. Thanks Andreas P.S. Using the Cyberlink coded for SDTV Last edited by MPUserFromGER; 2007-07-02 at 21:37. |
