Hi tourettes,

no audio issues at all. I'm using the ViewModeSwitcher plugin, but I switched it off during a test without any luck.

I find it funny that I can play the same record with the myVideo module without any problem. Where is the difference? Isn't the new TSreader used in both cases?

Skipping in the timeshift file is much slower then before by the way.

Multiseat setup. Logs attached. SVN 15426.
Seeking in timeshift buffer works fine.
Same here... Exactly the same problem since SVN 15338.

Tried different video decoders.. the only fix is to not use the TS Filter.

You are not alone, I have the same problem. Although for me it is not just FFW & RWD, for me it is basically any action i.e. info button.

This has been around for 6 or 7 builds.

TsReader is used also in the My Videos (when the c:\UseTsReader.txt is created.)

I have the c:\UseTsReader.txt present, so TsReader is used in myVideos for me. That means: when playing through myVideos skipping is fine, when playing through myTV the problem occurs.

Hi,

I am using TsReader now since a while by default and have tested it now many hours in prime time. I have to say it works really great. Also, I have no problems with seeking and skipping. I would like to thank all MP devs, especially Frodo, for this great work.

As I mentioned already earlier in this thread and also some others, there is still a very sporadic problem:
Maybe once in 2 days, after switching to another channel, MP freezes.
I just had it again and have captured the logs with the new MPTestTool2.exe. In the MP log you see the following:
Quote:
2007-08-05 23:30:14.625000 [Info.][MPMain]: TSReaderPlayer: event:ErrorAbort param1:-2147024882 param2:0 param1:0x8007000E param2:0x0

2007-08-05 23:30:14.750000 [Info.][MPMain]: TsReaderPlayer seek done:0
.....
Please note that I have only the following two optione enabled within the MyTV plugin:
- Prefer AC3
- Try to avoid seeking...

Also, I am using todays SVN 15437 (15431 of TVServer) with Cyberlink Codecs and TT S2-3200.

Beside that issue, I am really happy with it!

Yes I see the same. It also seems to be linked to the length of a recording. The longer the recording the longer the skip seems to take....

I noticed that from SVN/TVE3 build 15431 there is no longer a TsReader log under c:\ (a log used to be created in the same folder as the useTsReader.txt file for the new filter).

How come there is no log? Is that supposed to be? Or is the new TsReader disabled in latest SVNs? It does seem to be working though as far as I can tell.

Thanks.

Dima.
