HELP US: Testing the new filter

Yes, I did triple check with 15895 and 15898 - since I've seen you and others stating that version worked.

I hope some dev will look into this.

With latest SVN 16169 seems to be much better with audio problem... infact I did not have a single audio problem in about 50 channel changes after installing SVN (infact I never had a single problem). I also turned on option "Avoid seeking during channel change" of the tvplugin as suggested.

I only had a problem with an encrypted channel message error, turned of tv and back on and everything worked fine again... I will try to get logs for this error that sometimes happens in my configuration (with firedtv + matrix and NCAS).

Also seeking works fine, the only problem is that video during seeking is not updated, instead it seems freezed but when I press play everything works fine and I realize seeking happened althrough not displayed (hope you can understand the problem, I'm not so good in english to explain it better).

Hey Thanks! This works great!
I have been running it for two hours recording two scrambled channels on dvb-c with a single technotrend card (no illegal stuff). Since its running this nice i'll stick to it and get back to you if i get any problems.

Im running XP SP2 with all updates, cyberlink filters, nvidia purevideo latest svn of tve3 (16163) and MP (16169).

Did someone found an explanation for why we can't connect ffdshow as decoder to this test tsreader filter? Just curious, as I find more stability using PureVideo Nvidia decoder instead (and ffdshow as postprocessor filter for deinterlacing and sharpen).

Nope, no sync issues at all. But i haven't started using media portal that much yet. I'm still configuring the pc at the moment. But i recon i'll start using it steadily in the next couple of days.

Hi all,

I have updated to 16163. Now it is no longer possible to seek and pause in recorded TV-shows.
Is there anybody else with this problem?

Unfortunately I don't know wich version I used before!

So I tested SVN 16179 last night... And I still got the video & audio sync issue as I've described earlier here:

Is it only me or anybody else experience this problem?
Is the MP team aware of this problem? Since it has been working okay with SVN 15881 and earlier.

I would appreciate if the MP team could aknowledge the problem - or even say that it works for them - because it could be that it is only my setup that produces this error..?

I have the audio/video sync problem as well. Also when I turn the tv on, I get sound for a few seconds before I get video but when the video starts, the sound is in sync. If I watch it for a while, it slides in and out of sync randomly. When I change the channel, I quite often get the same scenario I described above, but sometimes I get no audio or video and MP locks up.
Probably unrelated but my tswriter.log is also huge. I'm talking over 100MB. It is full of events like this:

Strange as I said before I never had a problem in two days. You mean the problem when you change channel you don't get audio for it right?
