For me it's working with mpv/a in which the video is pretty smooth. And channel switching! WoW! But after about 3 channel changes the video becomes very courrupt, and slows down to just a few fps. (Havn't tried changing channels between cards)

It's used only in the MP side, not on the server side

I tried running the latest version of the filter in multiseat setup.
So I copied the tsreader.ax file from the server to the multiseat client.

When I tried regsvr32'ing it I got an error.
Are there any other files I need to copy to the client ?

It registers fine on the server ...
so perhaps there is a missing file on the client ?

I am very excited about the new ts filter, but it seems it's not working flawless on my configuration atm.

Tried today with my currently installed rev 15077. It did no miracle to myTV performance, but I thought I could see some improvement on channel switching speed.

I decided to try a clean install with 15088 to see if could gain even more from this new filter. When using mpv/a decoder I get really choppy playback and when I try to leave myTV, MP freezes. Using any other decoder, MP displays a few choppy, distorted frames and MP freezes...

I also tried using the latest 15098 build of TVE3 together with MP rev 15088, but this only causes myTV not to start at all and display the message 'Unkown error has occured' or something like that.

PIcture looks fine with the new filter. Stutering seems gone. Faster Channel changes. It crashes after about 3-4 channel changes for me though

svn 15112:
- hangups after zapping/seeking ->fixed
- tsreader now reconfigures its output pins when audio/video format changes
So changing from mpg2<->h264 or mpeg2 audio<->ac3 should now work

Hi!

Tried SVN MP:15088 / TV3 15115 and Nvidia & MPV/MPA inm multiseat but no pic&sound.
Got a lot of "2007-07-08 11:04:07.328125 [ERROR][MPMain]: seek failed->seek to 0 0x:1" in error log.

(Had to install TV3 Server on client before i succeded to register tsreader.ax)

I think you need to specify the whole path.
regsvr32 "c:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\TsReader.ax"
