| Portal Member | Hi, i test again with SVN & TVE3 Rev 15124. I use the Cyberlink Codecs with was bundled at my tv card. I made multiple tests, somtimes Picture and Sound are o.k., somtimes only scratching and still frames. I test SD and HD, scrambled and FTA - no difference. Cant say problems only there or there. After 3 or 4 channel changes MP hang up and i have to kill at the task manager. Preview inside TV3 allways fine. regards, Erbsenkopp |

Country: | Worked for me now for the first time. Running multiseat and Intervideo codeq for DVB T. But client hangs when changing channel and I get "2007-07-09 17:27:34.140625 [ERROR][MPMain]: seek failed->seek to 0 0x:1" in the error log.

| I've found the reason for stuttery playback of my HD h264 channels. In FillVideo and FillAudio methods there is the following check else if (m_pCurrentVideoBuffer->Length()>0) but somtimes when a ts packet just fills the buffer a new buffer is created but there is no data left to fill it with so the buffer size is 0. When the next TS packet is received it will be skiped because the buffer length is 0. If I remove the m_pCurrentVideoBuffer->Length()>0 check the channels playbacks fine. |

| Portal Member | O.K test again with SVN & TV3 Rev 15133 I start MP in Windows Mode and also TV Server to see wat´s happend. First of all: It need 3-4 seconds after timeshift starts in TV Server, to see the picture in MP With new stream i cant change channels directly. If i try, MP hang up and has to kill in TaskManager. In TV Server i can see Timeshift is running with the new channel. If i first stop Timeshifting (TV OFF) and select a different channel, MP still alive and i can see the selected channel. But sometimes picture is stuttering sometimes not. If i select a FTA HD channel, screen stay black. With a scrambled one, i can watch a few seconds and then my PC crash and restart itself. Without the new stream: Most of time at the first start, i get the "No Audio/Video found" error. But in TV Server timeshift is running ´till the message. So all i can see is, TV Server works fine, but MP cant use or communicate correctly with. regards, Erbsenkopp PS: Preview in TV Server allways fine |

Country: | Using only SD DVB-S channels, works for about 3 channel changes then freezes using server build 15115 and client build 15088 (rest of my system details are in "My System". Single seat config. Old filter still working better for me.

| Portal Member | I have tried the latest SVN yesterday and I've succeeded using the tsReader.ax for the client. I was able to change channels and skip on the client. There are two things to mention. Skipping and channel changing is quite slow on the client. The time for changing the channel sometimes is about 10 seconds and skipping can be as long as 5 seconds after the two seconds skip wait timer has expired. Yesterday the server recorded a program and on the client I was looking around and try to use the DVB-T radio. Choosing one channel causes MP to freeze. I had to reset the client with the hardware button. |
