Default DVB-T in Graz / Austria

Hi!

For Graz / Austria (Styria) there is a frequency missing. Please add an entry like this:

<country name ="Austria - Graz">
<carrier frequency="490000" bandwith="8"></carrier>
<carrier frequency="514000" bandwith="8"></carrier>
</country>

This gives ORF 1, ORF 2 B, ORF 2 St., ATV, PULS 4, 3SAT

HTH!

Smile "Australia - Vic - Bendigo" dvbt.xml entries

Here are the correct DVB-T entries in tuningparameters\dvbt.xml for Bendigo, Australia. This is fully tested and tunes all SD & HD channels in Bendigo, Victoria and surrounds.

The channel allocations are quite varied throughout Australia and getting specific information on regional areas is a painful process after cross referencing about 4 different Government media authority web sites. The 'Australia - All Regions' takes a long time to scan, but individual location settings, such as mine below only take a few moments.

Code:

<country name="Australia - Vic - Bendigo" offset="125">
       <carrier frequency="529500" bandwidth="7"></carrier>
       <carrier frequency="550500" bandwidth="7"></carrier>
       <carrier frequency="669500" bandwidth="7"></carrier>
       <carrier frequency="690500" bandwidth="7"></carrier>
       <carrier frequency="711500" bandwidth="7"></carrier>
</country>
I have been SLOWLY developing a DVB-T database of all current Australian frequencies/local variations for specific cities and towns if anyone is interested in highly likely to work entries for particular regional locations, but, I won't be able to test them for you obviously.

Regards
tamxir

EDIT: The reason I decided to do my own tuning parameters was because in Victoria, north of Melbourne, there are two alternate TV guide streams. Eastern Victoria and Western Victoria. Neither of those gave me all the channels I knew were here, and Bendigo guide info was either missing or wrong with the 'generic' classifications of where people live in Victoria. Bendigo, in the middle, fitted neither with some of each and mostly NONE of those in Melbourne.

I'm looking into the fine work done so far by talented programmers for EPG gathering and will, as moderator Paranoid Delusion suggested, look in on the Aussie thread to see if I can be of any help, or more to the point, learn something.

Great first post.

Maybe for your updated dvb frequency testing, look for volunteers in the Australian thread

Nice one
