Default How does this work?

Ok here is the thing, I've been messing around with HTPCs for a couple of years now, but since I have only had normal through-the-air TV-signal to work with I have not bothered with looking into the TV part of HTPCs untill now.

Currently I have 2 HTPCs running audio and video from a fileserver running Freenas. Is there anything wrong with the following statement:

What I want: I want to watch and record TV (Norwegian Riks-TV) on two TVs. And I want to to this through my HTPC, so that I limit the number of gadgets in the TV-room.

This means that I need one Windows computer with TV-Server installed, and 2x Floppy-TV Devices in that machine.

Is this correct?

What sort of computer is needed to get this to run smoothly with 2 and potentially maybe 4 TVs? I would also prefer to use this computer for the database for the movies, and also for downloading (only FTP).

You need a client for one TV and another for the second TV. You also need a server - which could be part of one of the clients or a 3. PC.

You also need:
2 x Floppy/FireDTV
2* x RiksTV CAM
2* x Smart Card

(*or do illegal stuff, but we don't talk about that in these forums )

Thank you. Have you got any info on what specs are needed for the server? Is a Sempron 1150 with 2GB ram good enough?

I would think the Sempron would do (but no promises). The most important thing is that the client must have a DX9-capable graphics card.

I read over that part earlier, but couldn't find any HW-specs, but I'm upgrading the HTPCs soon anyways so I'll get a couple of spare C2Ds then, so I'll probably be ok anyways, thanks again.
